Cinergy MetroNet Update: Now Serving Nearly 3,000 Customers in Less Than 2 Years in Seymour

Seymour, IN (March 12, 2009) - Cinergy MetroNet, the local provider of Digital Cable, High-Speed Internet and Full-Featured Phone services, has reached a significant milestone of serving 3,000 customers in Seymour in less than 2 years and is here to stay.

Cinergy MetroNet invested $12 million in their state-of-the-art, all-fiber optic network in Seymour in May of 2007. "Our all-fiber optic network is literally the roots we’ve placed in the city of Seymour," says Kevin Stelmach, General Manager and Vice President of Cinergy MetroNet. Cinergy MetroNet's store is located in downtown Seymour and is the primary customer service location for residents of Seymour. The innovative store design allows customers to test drive Cinergy MetroNet services at interactive kiosks, sign up for new services, and pay their bills -- all in one location. Trained and knowledgeable local customer service representatives are always available to answer questions and account inquires. And, Cinergy MetroNet's local service technicians also operate out of their local store.

Cinergy MetroNet has many new and exciting things on the horizon, including looking in to expanding their service area. Product upgrades will be introduced April 1st and will include 15Mbps High-Speed Internet (up from 10Mbps) and free unlimited long distance. The company recently added more channels to their High-Definition lineup and decreased the customers' cost.
