Do you have to re-wire my home for your services?
Our services can be supplied to almost any home without the need for any additional wiring. However, if you need outlets or new wiring installed to maximize enjoyment of our services, our experienced technicians are qualified and capable of performing that work for you.
How long does it take to install Cinergy MetroNet services?
A standard installation takes 4-6 hours for all three services.
Should I cancel my services I have now?
No, you'll want to wait to cancel your current services until your Cinergy MetroNet service is installed to avoid any down time.
Can I change services after I'm installed?
Yes, you can change your services at anytime simply by calling our Customer Service team at 1-877-407-3224.
Do I have to get a digital set-top box?
No, if you have a cable-ready television, you can get our Standard Lineup programming without a set-top box or any other special equipment. However, to receive any of our digital programming or any channels or services beyond our Standard Lineup, a Cinergy MetroNet digital set-top box is required.
OK, I want your Digital Services. Do I need a set-top box for every TV in my home?
That's up to you. On each television you want to receive digital programming, watch pay-per-view events, or have access to channel guide information, you’ll need a Cinergy MetroNet digital set top box. Similarly, you'll need a Cinergy MetroNet digital set-top box with HD capability to receive high-definition programming. However, if you have a cable-ready television, you can view our Standard Lineup channels without a set-top box.
