We’re teaming up with Google to offer you EVEN BETTER email services! And to do this, we will convert all broadreach.net email addresses to a cinergymetro.net address on October 7, 2008.

When will the conversion take place?
On October 7, we migrated all broadreach.net customers to cinergymetro.net email services.
What do I need to do to get started with cinergymetro.net?
Log in to your email account at https://account.cinergymetronet.com/newaccount/ with your username and password. If you want to visit Google services directly, bookmark the Google Start Page as your brower's homepage. On the Start Page, you can preview your latest email messages, calendar events, and documents. You can even chat with people on your Contacts list.
How do I get my Outlook Express client to work with the cinergymetro.net email?
Prepare your email client software for the change by setting up the POP information. This can be found at http://www.cinergymetronet.com/outlook/oeSetup.html or you can call 1-877-407-3244 to speak with one of our customer support representatives.
What if I need help after the migration?
For technical or other assistance from Cinergy MetroNet, please call 1-877-407-3224.
What does a cinergymetro.net account include?
Email, Calendar, and many other web applications from Google. For more information about Google Apps, click here.
What are the URLs to access cinergymetro.net features and services?
Will I have a new email address?
For all Cinergy MetroNet customers, we will forward email from your old broadreach.net email address to your new cinergymetro.net email address for 1 year. You will be assigned a cinergymetro.net email address with @cinergymetro.net in the address.
(For example, if your current email address is cutie01@broadreach.net your new email address will be cutie01@cinergymetro.net.)
Will my passwords change?
No. Your password will stay the same as long as your password is at least 6 characters. If your existing password is less than 6 characters long, we'll append exclamation point characters ( ! ) at the end of your password to make its be at least 6 digits in length.
(For example, if your current password is CMN, your new password will be CMN!!!)
If you forgot your password or need to change your password, you can make these changes by logging in to your account settings on the Online Services Manager (Account Management) page found at https://account.cinergymetronet.com/.
You can also call Cinergy MetroNet at 1-877-407-3224 to set up your password.
Will my address book on webmail.broadreach.net migrate?
Unfortunately, it won't. The current design of cinergymetro.net doesn't allow Cinergy MetroNet nor the customer to move these contacts. We'll keep webmail.broadreach.net live for a short time after the conversion so you can review your contacts and move them. Perhaps a good way to transfer your contacts is to view your contacts in the broadreach.net account and copy the information, then paste it into an email message. You can then email the information to your cinergymetro.net account and set up your contacts.
What if someone sends an email to my old email address?
If someone sends you an email and uses the broadreach.net address, the email message will be forwarded to your new address @cinergymetro.net for 1 year. Be sure to reply to the sender from your new email account so they can update their contact list with your new information.
Will I experience any downtime as a result of this change? You may experience brief downtime, but no lost email messages.
