Follow the steps below to set up your CinergyMetro.net email account within Outlook Express.
- Open Your Web Browser, Type webmail.cinergymetro.net into the address bar.
Then login using your email address and password.

- Click Settings in the upper left hand corner

- Click on the Forwading and POP/IMAP Tab.
Choose the options to enable both POP and IMAP.

- Click Save Changes.
Now click Sign out in the upper right and close your web browser

- Open Outlook Express.

- Click the Tools menu, and select Accounts...

- Click Add, and then click Mail...

- Enter your name in the Display name: field, and click Next.

- Enter your full cinergymetro.net email address (example@cinergymetro.net) in the Email address: field, and click Next.

- For "My incoming mail server is a ______ server", please select POP in the drop-down menu.
- Enter pop.gmail.com in the Incoming mail (POP3, pop or HTTP) server: field.
Enter smtp.gmail.com in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: field.

- Click Next.
- Enter your CinergyMetro.net email address (including '@cinergymetro.net') in the Account name: field. Enter your CinergyMetro.net password in the Password: field, and click Next.

- Click Finish.

- Click pop.gmail.com (to highlight it) and click Properties.

- Click the Advanced tab.

- Under Outgoing Mail (SMTP), check the box next to "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)".
- Enter 465 in the Outgoing mail (SMTP): field.
- Under Incoming mail (pop), check the box next to "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)". The port will change to '995'.
- Click the Servers tab, and check the box next to "My server requires authentication".

- Click OK.
